VICAM MARKETING DEPARTMENT WINS AWARD FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN
Entry chosen among 10,000 entries from all industry sectors
WATERTOWN, MA (July 31, 2000) - VICAM, a world leader in agricultural biotechnology and bioseparations, received a prestigious American Graphic Design Award for marketing materials created to launch a new product line. VICAM is known internationally for its rapid mycotoxin and microbiological testing systems for the food and feed industries. VICAM also provides tests for mold in fruits and vegetables and tests for alpha-amylase in wheat and flour. VICAM has an additional line of separations technologies for their veterinary reproductive platform.
The Contest
Judges from around the country included representatives
from renowned advertising agency, Ogilvy & Mather and pharmaceutical
giant, Merck & Co., Inc. The contest received more than 10,000
entries, of which less than 10% were winners. The size of the contest
can be explained by its democratic nature; graphic communication entries
were accepted from every industry, squaring graphic design communications
companies against companies from other industries with their own in-house
communications teams.
VICAM’s Entry
VICAM’s winning data sheet was designed by
VICAM and was included in the 150-plus page Graphic Design Annual.
The Annual is viewed by over 30,000 graphic communications industry
leaders and distributed at industry shows and events throughout the
country.
