Aflatoxin M1, a toxin found in milk, is derived from ingested aflatoxin. Aflatoxins are known carcinogens. Detection of aflatoxin M1 is critical because this toxin is found in milk, a major source of nutrition for infants, children, and adults. Throughout the world, there are significant regulations on the presence of M1 in dairy products. VICAM's AflaM1 FL+™ is the ideal solution to determining levels of M1 in milk in parts per trillion (ppt) using a fluorometer.

AflaM1 FL+ from VICAM is a rapid aflatoxin test which produces precise numerical results. Using monoclonal antibody-based affinity chromatography, AflaM1 FL+ can isolate aflatoxin M1 from fluid milk.

Here’s How Simple
Afla M1 FL+ is to Use:

Prepare Sample
Centrifuge
Remove skim milk portion
Bind and Elute
Pass sample over AflaM1 FL+ mobile bead column
Remove frit and wash column
Elute aflatoxin M1 from column and collect in a cuvette
Measure
Add developer and place cuvette into a calibrated fluorometer
Read results in ppt
